What purpose would this serve? Are you hoping to spread this language beyond this site or would it be exclusive to Raddle?

Personally, I was just bored.

Whatever you'd like would be fine with me.

I would be. What direction do have in mind?

Honestly, nothing yet beyond just doing it.

What would you like?

I've been working on a language consisting of only 7 words. Perhaps people could help me complete the project and Raddle can use/adopt it?

That makes Toki Pona seem extravagant! XD

I'd like to discuss the project with you further sometime. I've been ruminating on this for several years. The language is called 7erb (pronounced verb).

I'm really interested in 7erb! You really should post about it in /f/glossopoeia somtime, it'd be fun to get into. Or maybe a /w/ page, if that'd be easier.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm finishing up another project but next week I'll post something about 7erb.

Again, thank you.

You realize he was being metaphorical, right?

2

hotcool wrote

Yes, but does it matter? I want to design a compact language of only 7 words.

1

shanoxilt OP wrote

You can try, but they'd have to be very vague.

It is probably going to be an extremely syntax-heavy language.

7erb will require stacking words, much like toki pona does (i.e. tomo tawa kon = helicopter)

Oh, no doubt about it. Have you looked in aUI, the "language of space"?
