As soon as you post or write something and make it public, you're opening yourself up to criticism. Criticism isn't undercut by not offering your own content, nor is it more valuable if you do. Morality has nothing to do with it.

I will repeat it: once you make something public you are absolutely 100% without question asking for opinions from friends and strangers. Some of those opinions will be positive, and some of them will be critical. It's part of being public.

If you aren't interested in people having opinions about your ideas and positions, the only solution is not to share your stuff.
