A button to preview your post or comment reply before submitting would be cool. Markdown text formatting is confusing, terrible, bad, and doesn't always end up making my text how I want it. Being able to see how my post is going to look before I submit it is helpful. I'm a post editing fiend.

RES does this in a good way where it adds a display box under the text input box showing you in real-time how your post will appear.

The RES feature of embedding pictures and videos upon clicking a button next to a post would be really cool too.
Really like this site so far, it's just lacking some small conveniences, which tbh aren't really necessary but would be cool to have.

Yeah I know, I didn't mean to rant or anything, you mentioning RES just made that suggestion pop up in my head. I mean it's definitely something that is not necessary as there are more important things to work on first, just wanted to throw it out there.

emma is working on markdown preview right now. Personally, I think reply notifications should be next.

You can make separate requests for whatever features you have ideas for, it's very useful and most of the proposed ideas have become reality so far thanks to emma's hard work.
