My interpretation of Anarcho-Primitivism is that it is not an immediate abandonment of technology, but it is the effort to roll back dependence on destructive technology until it doesn't annihilate people, animals, and our habitat any further. One of the criticisms coming from anprims is that industrial society was a bad idea, but it was forced violently anyway. There is evidence of there being many objectors as industrialization was rolled out across the stolen lands.
