I voted for him twice.

Once in the primary (which we later found out was rigged, so it probably didn't count), and again as a write-in in the general, which the masters explicitly say they don't count.

I should have done this. I voted Hillary, mostly to protest Trump and to not dilute votes. But I'm in such a Republican state, I really should have written in.

It takes real strength of character to admit you've made a mistake, and I applaud you for doing so.

Making mistakes, admitting them frankly, and then learning from them is how we grow as people of Reason. Lots of folks forget those latter two steps and then wonder why they haven't matured.

Don't get me wrong, I would have liked a woman President too, but Hillary ain't a woman. She may have been one once, but she chose to make a deal with a female demon, which subsequently ate up everything human in that meat shell.

Well I wasn't going to go that far. I clearly think she's still a woman, but yeah - her neoliberal policy views place profit and corporate interest above the interests of marginalized people. It doesn't help that her husband was responsible for so many regressive policy decisions.

If I were in a swing state, I would have voted for her, though. Since there is 0 chance my state will vote Democrat, it makes more sense for my vote to go to a more progressive candidate to indicate my values. Not that my values are particularly fond of representative democracy - much prefer direct action... :-) Fuck hierarchy.
