I imagine that if we're not going to make anarchists of those people then we're probably going to have even more trouble with others.

As for me, probably the best thing I've done in the world was be a part of turning some liberals eager on anarchism into anarchists. Those people went on to be part of some really meaningful things and some of them have better politics than me now.

We can be mean about it and push them away, but there are other options, like being critical and kind and open to hearing their case.

We've also got to strike a balance between being welcoming of other ideologies and not, and aside from assholes I think it's worthwhile to try to make productive conversation with people we disagree with. Also since it's one of the best ways to get people actually writing things on this site.

Yeah this is pretty much how I would answer.

Also they're out in the world doing more, and with other people, all who are bringing their best skills to the table at the cutting edge of their politics. It doesn't mean I don't have some stuff better, but in general they do better, and affect the world more intensely.
