She only ran for president once.
Also, there have been a handful of women candidates who ran for president and did not win two times before Hilary; Jill Stein, Isabell Masters, Lenora Fulani, Belva Ann Lockwood.
What about when she ran against Barack Obama and lost? Or is that more about the party nomination than anything else?
Though you left out the first woman to run for president: Victoria Woodhull. She ran against Ulysses Grant in 1872. From the looks of things, she was a really cool person we should all know about.
