If in a conversation we do not agree on the definitions of our terms, we will never get anywhere. And if you insist on not accepting the definition of the people you are conversing with, you will never understand their arguments.

We can call that system of exploitation "Jonathanism" if you want though (although I don't know what have Jonathans done to deserve this), if it helps us actually have the discussion we want to have ("is making fun on white/straight people in a Western context problematic?").

Note: This forum is not sanctioned by the administrators and no one has to use it if they don't wish to. Users are provided with a block function so that they don't have to engage with users they don't want to engage with. No one can force them to engage each other using this forum.

For working out differences between users or groups of users. A place for healing and introspection.

Disputes between established users or groups that don't involve clear ToS violations should be solved in f/mediation before admins are asked to intervene.

f/meta proposals to take action against established users may be directed here at an administrator's discretion.

Feel free to shout as loud as you want at each other in f/mediation. This is a venue where you can voice your anger at other users, while also providing a space for healing and reconciliation.

Global ban proposals should only be made in here if all attempts at mediation fail and the users involved are damaging the community with their toxic bickering.
