Rain has been less common in the past few year, when I was a child it could rain for days, now it's mostly less than one hour when it rains. This also affects our rivers, every year for the past 5 years we've been experiencing drought. It's become an attraction to visit the presa? When it becomes a walkable mud.

I live in a valley surrounded by mountains, in winter it used to get cold enough to see your breath and the entire city would be fill in mist during the first few hours of the morning. Now it's no different than summer.

Thunderstorms everyday for weeks on end, hotter summers, much more erratic winters. Hasn't hit as hard here yet as elsewhere, though

Trees drying up. Fungal diseases killing them. Locust swarms. Not being able to wear clothes any more at home because it's too hot. Not being able to sleep. Flies. Landslides in winter washing the road away. Having to shovel more soil to the road so I can drive to work. Can't grow annual crops any more. sand in the air always rubbing my eyes. wildfires anywhere people smoke.

So many ways...

  1. Killer bees have moved into my state. We were always told it would be cold enough that they would not be able to survive the winter.
  2. Warm winter means more bugs, rodents, and snakes... I hate snakes.
  3. Extremely hot summers, long periods of no rain, and when it rains it almost always creates a flash flood warning.
  4. The weather all around is weird. Super warm winter, late cold snap, then extremely warm spring, and then floods. I have heard so many stories of farmers this year alone may cause them to go bust.
  5. We have not had a colorful fall leave change in a few years. The summers have been so dry.
  6. The pollen... oh, so much pollen that starts early and ends very late.
  7. Lakes are drying up, people are drilling deeper to find new aquifers.
