I'm mostly thinking DeLanda (with their Intensive Science and Virtual Philosophy , but Deleuze was included. Specifically, some shorter pieces that explain how to read and understand the way that Deleuze is doing/using mathematics in his work (which is kinda what DeLanda is doing). (I haven't read much Foucault) I'm not sure how it works and have only been able to engage some small bits of Deleuze's math stuff, but the parts I have have made sense, so though I suspect you're right I also have a suspicion that you aren't reading Deleuze the way it is intended. If I come across the stuff I've read that engages and contextualises it further I'll run it by you because I'd be super interested to hear your thoughts on it.
