So I went to the doctor today for some tests. I go back tomorrow for some more. I'm really scared. Not just of what they're testing for. I'm also scared that all the stuff they are checking isn't what is wrong and I won't know what is wrong with me.

FUCK CAPITALISM, U R RITE

I am so feeling this today so thanks. Like, I know, is joek. But seriously. Some fucks just got 18million in funding from selling trans people undies, and are throwing said trans people over to support cops. I am so angry all the time.

I feel useless, I am 2/3ths trough a math undergrad but I don't really connect with the material anymore. I want to do something of value for the world but I don't seem to find anything I could even help with. Also trying to do a small coop amazon thing in my city with some leftist friends that would only sell coop things and courier by a local courier coop or ourselves but it currently seems daunting.

Will be trying to get a bike mechanic job but I don't have work experience in that area and I can't find openings online. (Only experience is some basic tech support during highschool and servicing my bike)

I feel lost in the world. :C

Edit: Just to clarify, I only wanted to vent and it is my current state but hopefully things will turn alright in the following weeks.

Hey so I saw you only wanted to vent so feel free to ignore the following, but I just had some thoughts so I thought I'd respond. Hope that's ok!

That said, you'd be suprised how much I wish I had the opportunity to do an undergrad level math. When you get hardcore into ethics/politics it never hurts to know and be sharp on. I'm often suprised how much my favourite philosophy gets deep into some mathematics and science stuff.

want to do something of value for the world but I don't seem to find anything I could even help with

I'd be suprised if this is the case. There are probably tonnes of things you could do. And it does seem like you're already working on that with the coop. If you keep thinking about it you'll probably come across something interesting. I love publishing projects and propaganda stuff, personally.

Maybe try do an intership training thing at a bike place to get the skills you need?

I'm mostly thinking DeLanda (with their Intensive Science and Virtual Philosophy , but Deleuze was included. Specifically, some shorter pieces that explain how to read and understand the way that Deleuze is doing/using mathematics in his work (which is kinda what DeLanda is doing). (I haven't read much Foucault) I'm not sure how it works and have only been able to engage some small bits of Deleuze's math stuff, but the parts I have have made sense, so though I suspect you're right I also have a suspicion that you aren't reading Deleuze the way it is intended. If I come across the stuff I've read that engages and contextualises it further I'll run it by you because I'd be super interested to hear your thoughts on it.

I love Raddle and I hope we survive the influx intact, caring for each other, and with as little impact possible.

Also I'd love to help out the mods, buuuut idk I've not been about v long, and I'm afraid I'd be bad at walking the non-hierarchical line, cause I've not had enough practice. I'd rather be listening and hermiting than be harmful.

But omg empathy, good or bad it's going to be increased workload. I'll be as here as I can for y'all.

I went to an anti-abortion rally yesterday, mainly to fight people about their bad opinions, and of the four people I talked with, at least one homeschools their children. Sometimes, you have to wonder if these poor people weren't just raised hatefully, or without many opinions.

They were raised hatefully by their parents through generations. The ideal monogamy nuclear family that run deep into the mind of anti-abortion type of folks. If you dig a bit more from they, they're also anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theorist and surprise, a bunch of fucking racists. The whole purpose of these fucks banning abortion is because: A) they want to enforce that idea of monogamy. B) Eugenics, because the people get affected the most about these issues are poor women of colour.

lol I like how Raddle jumped from few comments to dozens when the Chapo folks migrated from reddit. I was hoping that when r/piracy gone dark they'd come here. But I guess dbzer0 tempo fixed the ban on that sub.

Either way, they will come to Raddle or Dread when the fanbase left reddit.

Hi, another Reddit refugee here! My neverending quest to find an alternative to Reddit has led me to Raddle, I can't support a site whose owner let's T_D run rampant, and this place looks promising.

Are there any respectful conservative or pro-capitalism based sub forums here? I identify as liberal but I like to read and debate opposing views and ideas. I feel that debate and challenging ideas are good for intellectual growth, but I don't see much of that around here. Then again I am brand new here, and I'd rather not see this forum devolve into Reddit 2.0

I'm tired of being downvoted to hell and back by the Reddit hive mind for having a controversial opinion, so I apologise if my question seems loaded, I'm just trying to avoid the same thing here. I'd appreciate any advice or help, I'm looking forward to exploring this site further! (Apologies if this isn't the right forum for questions like this, navigating on my ancient phone is a pain)

Not everything here is about politics (for example, we have f/Health). You can always create your own forums when you want. I created f/Anarquismo a long ago. Before I was there alone, but now it has lots of activity, so it can take some time until it takes of, maybe it doesn't.

Almost everyone here is some sort of anti-capitalist, with I guess the exception of a few of the people who are only here for f/shoplifting. So... maybe read and debate the anti-capitalist opposing views? When the rare conservative does float through here, they don't tend to be particularly respectful.

I started reading anarchist news web site today and was to sad to see more snark than usual. Some of us get in our own way and the way of others rather than listening, learning, and engaging in a positive manner. Yesterday The Last Internationale did a "surprise" intimate show at Asbury Park. See https://www.facebook.com/thelastinternationale/videos/342386986479082/?t=6

Beautiful mouth harp and wonderful blues jam. Loved their version of Ohio.

CW rape mention

Look I know not everyone will feel the same, so this is just one persons feelings, but tbh your username reads like a lowkey rape threat to me. Among other things. Possibly I've just been raped too bloody often and I'm sick of rape culture and I'm sensitive, for good reason.

By itself, that's not definitive, but heck, combined with the behavior you've exhibited, perhaps I might be 'abrasive'.

Interesting thought comes to mind though - I've been doing DIY cleaning products and bodycare and medicine these days, and abrasives? Abrasives are awesome, key to cleaning and caring for ourselves, and help us keep icky stuffs from taking over our bodies and environs. So I'm happy to be an abrasive! Useful and essential to maintaining health and wellbeing :)
