I disagree with Zizek's notion that "now is the time for theory". How will more theory help us? Sure, ordinary people don't fully understand their situation but you cant preach to the proletariat what they ought to do.

I believe the soft-left are Anarchists they just don't know it yet.

What use is Capital gonna be to someone who already knows it's bullshit that they have to pay rent for a place they only have enough time a day to sleep in before their next shift or that food stamps don't cover nearly enough to actually eat well, even if you had time to cook in the first place? People understand what's going on, they're just resigned to it and their voices are drowned out by milquetoast WASPs insisting everything's fine because they're the ones benefiting from it.
