I wonder on average how much money raddlers make.

Completely poor. Need dumpster food to survive. Meager cash for busking artwork. On the road.

Not much, but not so little that I would be considered below the poverty line for a single person with no kids in my country. It's still not enough to get by easily on my own, so I live with a parent and help them pay bills that they struggle with anyway. I also help my grandparent out since she only has social security to live off of.

I've helped other people out with survival before but I'm being overwhelmed by bills and can't afford to anymore. Otherwise, I might be able to help with some projects or contribute to other peoples' needs.

Zero. I literally survive off of theft. Some moral reason makes me refuse to ever bow to an authority in a boss, unless I have to for someone else.

Any particular reason, or just an idle curiosity?

I suppose the reason is that I wonder whether we'd be able to fund interesting projects, but it's also just a general thought.

For example, where I live the Euro or Dollar or Pound is worth a lot of money, so I often wonder what it would look like for small money overseas to become bigger money here.

I'm from South America and I'm a poor as fuck, I'm mentally disabled and didn't even finish high school, if things don't change in my country I won't last too long.

Aqui nos hemos medio librado de esa. Los sueldos son bajisimos y mucha gente compra comida a credito en las bodegas. Una casa de naipes. La proxima recesion nos va a llevar quien no nos trajo.

Deberia comenzar a plantar comida.

I have a capitalist parent I depend on and will continue to for as long as I can manage - and I have no money of my own.

It depends hugely on where you go and what you're buying, but for the country I'm in and several nearby ones (SADC & SACU generally) it is probably safe to say that average income is less than 100 US$ per month, often quite a bit less, sometimes with mitigating factors.
Which often means you just eat like once a day and it's corn and you just don't buy anything, maybe you're paying a little rent for your shack or money for transport or whatever. (I could give better descriptions but already I'm doxxing myself). Generally if people have any substantial income at all it's going to immediate needs of people they know who have no income.

For example, in Zambia a normal meal a normal person would have daily would probably be nshima (corn meal) with tomato and raab, maybe cooked with bit of an onion and some oil/butter, which'd cost probably less than 0.50 US$. But if you go to a fancy tourist place it'll be as expensive and even potentially more than a restaurant in the US.

If I could, I would try to find ways of connecting overseas money with solid projects/people around here. There are few, but they exist.

If raddlers had any money to speak of, I'd like to think emma's bitcoin contributions wouldn't be so embarrassing.

Not much, around $400/month. However I'm constantly impressed by how many people make much less than I when I don't even make enough to actually pay income tax.

I make about 2500$ a month. I'm not super rich for the area I live in but I live cheaply and never have to worry about money. I'm definitely willing to donate some to Raddlers/a worthy cause.

I had to pick up $40 dollars of fucking GRITS for someone today. Then in the car my girlfriend and I had to adult-talk if we could afford $2 coke floats. Still looking for an apartment.

it's weird how fast threads drop to page 2 now, even with 8 upvotes and 6 comments.

Huh. it took it getting one more upvote (to 9) to rescue it from page 2, that's interesting.
