I got a letter from the government the other day.

I opened and read it, but didn't burn it yet. It's an invitiation to a survey for crime victims. The letter states that the survey will not ask me if I have broke the law myself. But it is still basically asking me to snitch.

So I'm just wondering, should I completely ignore it or should I use it for the advantage of writing "fuck the law" in an official government survey?

Probably best to ignore.

The letter would look good in my trash can. In fact, it already looks good in my trash can. But if it would look better in my fireplace is a question that I have yet to answer.

EDIT: I mean I got some more paper and carboard to get rid of, I also got a very efficient fireplace with a tall chimney. This is looking like a no-brainer to me.

That's all the encouragement I needed. It's lit now, along with a full load of newspapers, beer 6-pack cartons and a pizza box for good measure

I'm getting perfect draft and a beautiful flame
