no bosses no masters
my boss is away this week. I'm getting a lot done.
also i am graduating college on friday with three associates and one professional certificate. i'm actually thinking about going back part-time to get my bachelor's. i figure if I'm already going to be in debt for the rest of capitalism and/or my life (whichever ends first) why not go all in?

I'm spoiled by my lack of student loan payments. but also enticed by the lure of excess loan fund disbursement.
I'm also flirting with the idea of law school.

I may be biased because I work at the university now, technically (I’m on a tuition waiver for my masters as a grad student)… but straight up, education is awesome! Go for it!
I think Ben Franklin - when he wasn’t parting down with classy French prostitutes and getting hammered by 11am - said it the best “pour all of your money into your head because nobody can ever take it away from you then.” I usually don’t like quotes from those sorts of people, but that’s a solid quote. At least for now, the knowledge you get cannot be revoked.
And don’t be disheartened about the money! I managed to pay off close to $65k of my first career’s loans after grinding for a significant time period. It’s not ideal, but if you’re extremely privileged (such as myself) and have a good support network, they can get paid off. That’s the way this capitalism thing works, so if you can play “the game” and you get something out of it that is truly yours… go ahead and do it.
I guess that makes me kind of a poser radical, but my wife and I have a house and a fairly comfortable life now. Which is good for the kids and provides some stability. Still like I said, pour your money into your head, then nobody can take it away from you.
