It would prepare the community for the inevitable ban, so they start thinking seriously about it and know where to move to, as well as raise awareness of Reddit's cracking down on the left.

Seeing lemmy get plugged by someone in r/metanarchism, I'm worried the tankies will move in for the kill with their Discord cliques and herd them all over there like the r/chapotraphouse fiasco. When that whole thing went down, instead of coming to Raddle, tens of thousands of people just waited for weeks in some Discord server for the 'officials' (tankies who weren't even involved with the original sub) to set up their own lemmy, which successfully turned thousands of baby ancoms and demsocs into full blown Dengists.

but who’s going to prepare us for the influx of liberal bullshit that would come with an influx of new users?

would probably not do much but establish raddle.me as the post-left, anti-civ enemy. As an enemy of anarchist reddit, I'd welcome it. But it's all silly games without much consequence. Mods already advertise raddle, and yet there's not much activity on here.

it doesn't matter

The problem is the mods advertise it in things no one ever reads, like the sidebar.

I don't think they'd be angry at being directed to an anarchist site for 24 hours, and if they would they're not very good anarchists.

No thanks, I'd rather not have the anarco-libs, anarcho-democrats, anarcho-marxists, etc overwhelm this place.

i dont think raddle would be equipped to handle that volume of traffic, and i am not talking about server infrastructure but moderation.

I mean, take a look at the mod list on the right --->

r/anarchism only has like 6 mods.

of those six there's really only 3 that are doing a bulk of the work.
