I think I can agree that's part of it but not the whole thing. and thinking about it right now I'm wondering if it doesn't have to do with conception of what a human future will look like.

having economic theory makes sense when you imagine a future that necessitates things like economies of scale.

that's not the future I see. but that's doomerism and no one wants that.

Turn that doom upsidedown... woop!

Doomerism - Society is going to collapse, and we're all doomed. I don't want to live.

I will not.

I only own black clothes. I can't be anything but a nihilist. It's impossible. I tried!

This reminded me of SK3 he would only wear black bc he was a anarchist and wanted to be black like the anarchist flag.

You never have to get bloc if you stay bloc.

Even my covid masks are black - though I also have some really pretty pastel ones with clouds and stars and some that are rainbow colors. :3

... I have let some colour back into my wardrobe, so people at work pay less attention.

I even own a nice chunky pair of New Rock boots (... which I haven't worn in 15 or years).

But I guess I was always absurd about it - black nails, black lipstick, and pictures of flowers and love hearts drawn on my face.

Black trench coat, black boots, long black hair - in pigtails with a daffodil chain on my head.

I have some floral prints and a few dresses that are grey but everything else is black or black and white (checker board patterns). In the before times I wore really bright lipsticks and had crayon hair colors and used glitter on my cheeks like freckles. my shoes are usually pretty interesting too. idk what it is but I just cannot make myself feel comfortable wearing things that are colorful on my body.
