Stellaris
Sounds interesting.
Stellaris is a real-time grand strategy game set in an alternate reality of space in the distant future. Players play as a government of a species in early stages of interstellar space exploration, right after the invention of faster-than-light (FTL) space travel technology, ready to claim a place as one of "the species of the stars." Depending on several factors, such as the ethics of the civilization and the player's desires, the ultimate goal of the empire can range from galactic conquest, hoarding of resources and technological supremacy, to peaceful coexistence with or absolute destruction of all other sapient life.

I am playing minetest right now. Minecraft knock off. I accidentally started a forest fire and am forcing myself to live with the consequences. Created a pretty big fire break to contain it but the effect was limited.

idk if I'd say that it's any fun but I'm enjoying it all the same. I play on easy mode mostly and vibe on the soundtrack (which is fucking amazing) and looking at dope pictures of space.

I keep getting eaten alive by mosquitoes since I refuse to use DEET. MF'ers bit me through two layers of clothes like they weren't even there.
It's peak harvest season for a lot of stuff. Got a lot of spruce tips, horsetail, dandelion, chickweed, raspberry leaves, and mugwort this week.
EDIT: I'll investigate this citronella.

I've found using a little bit of the essential oil like a cologne (dab on wrists then wipe on neck) worked better than the perfumes!

Anytime I go outside in the spring of summer I basically bathe myself in lemon and eucalyptus oil natural mosquito repellent.

I think my job search is over. Hopefully the new place sucks less. Pays better anyway.
At my current place my coworkers all revealed their fantasies about work burning down or getting destroyed via tornado. It was a nice moment. I will miss them but its time to go.

Mo' money, mo' betta. Best of luck with your new chapter. Career switching has always been one of the most cathartic things for me, it gives you a sense of momentum that almost automatically channels itself into the rest of your life.

I think I'm out of government money to pay for school which means I'll have to just get a job and probably end up working in an area I don't care about, like family or personal injury. That's a problem for next week me though.
This week I'm doing nothing but playing Stellaris because vibing in space is about the only thing I can emotionally cope with after this most current American news cycle of absolute collapse.
