lately i've been alot noticing this. but Trends's not new. I wanna start saying i don't critique the ppl who are in2 it. they have diff tastes and i respect that. but yes it's ain't novel, i def recollect this from like ca 1 year before
Now imo Liminal spaces are unconvincing. they say it's someplace of transition, envoking nostalgia, tranquility, or fear in a poignant spatial relation of contorted affect, notwithstanding its effervescent and ephemeral cohesiveness. ig but Somehow the atrocities of the intewebz water themself down 2 the moment of decorating empty places w troves of comments, likes, and subscriptions, declaring, under the sun, mind u, an isolation adorned with some over-reached petty re-mark on affect-derived-vacancy
what's the most unconvincing's how i can post like 20 some pics, some of them'll be so-called Liminal, labelled before thusly, & the others are the innards of vacant buildings. a banal mall, a boring swimming pool, a hallway w many doors, or whatevs. i'll do it 4 the click-bait, but then what's considered liminality when it's been this way before? Like why's this now a boiling hype?
and The backrooms. who actually believes in glitching outta reality & ending up in a monster-infested dimly-lit incessant yellow labyrinth likened 2 corporate america's office spaces? i'll be unsuprised when they start popping off 2 simulation theory XD like oops! Sorry i didn't mean 2 glitch outta reality on u but i actually don't wanna live the same reality any-more after
now I could've been p much off-base and ego-syntonic. and i'm ain't tryna deride any1 by no means. but rn I can't placate the sweep this's done lately, then i can't find any indulgence comprehended from someplace i don't wanna contort its pathetic meaning 4 me

MOONLUNE'S SHIT THEORY: It's probably eery to people because we've evolved next to life and a being alone in completely ascepticized unmoving still (dead) space rings danger bells in our head and people notice the bells but forgot that it once ringed danger and so now they re fascinated by it.
Raddle has our own "liminal space" equivalent: /f/akeplastictree
