the veganarchist rimworld colony survived. i sent a guy out with the last of my silver and found a settlement of potato farmers which held us over until the rice crops came in.
i’ve built no walls or weapons
i’ve got hospitality turned on but all the beds are free. visitors can come and take whatever they want, sleep for as long as they want. they usually leave more in gifts than they take
i haven’t used any animals. i haven’t tamed any animals. a couple of animals self tamed but i don’t do anything with them. they just eat the rice. that’s fine. i haven’t bought or traded any animal products. my guys all make their own clothes with grown cotton
i also haven’t burnt any fuels. i built two wind turbines and rushed research for hydroelectricity and solar panels. so any lights are fully powered by that. i haven’t built any excess technology and still have something like 13 of the components you start with
i’m just growing rice now and any excess goes to visitors or whatever animals come to take it
the rest of the time my guys are just making art out of wood that i grow. i plant more trees than i use.
i don’t really have any other goals for the game so i think i won?
i guess i could try and fully forest the map since it is a bit of a wasteland
oh yeah, all my settlers are set to fully unrestricted so they can choose their own schedule. they don’t have any work orders. they can just do what they want. shit still gets done.

Got a new public project brewing that's going to level up on previous stuff, could be awesome.

I feel like I need to get more straight edge again. I've noticed that my mental health takes a serious dive within minutes of consuming coffee or alcohol. Probably should sleep more, too.

Seems like ya'll are going through some stuff right now down there.

yes let's get good rest not just longer sleep but by focusing on quality there's a lot of things that can affect sleep.
So to replace sugar with fresh fruits and veggies and alcohol with mindful preparation for sleep, and weed with meditation etc. by being straight edge you can allow other things into your life.

Coffee is one of the worse for me, I even developed some jittery hands after drinking one cup. And I get other nasty physical effects, blood pressure, sweats, and dizzy head.
I hate it, but maybe sXe is the best for my health

Watched Lilya 4-ever the other day. Something about the general feel of the film, and the early 2000s vibe, it stayed with me. Not a mastapiece, but it broke the series of watching forgetable trash. Guess I'm into bleak shit now.

I have finally decided to talk rather then lurk. I think that survivalists with zero morals will probably have the jump on us. He who shares his water with his clique only is a step ahead of those who would share it with everyone.
Edit:You know very well I was talking about ethics with my old terminology, shame on you all.

I've been getting ready to be back on the road. I'll have a bike now though so I've been practicing biking with all my gear while I'm still housed up. Managed to do 25 miles today pretty easily. Tomorrow's a rest day but ill be going for 30 the day after, and just keep doing more and more to build up a good comfortable day pace so I know what to expect when moving north and south based on the seasons.

I don't think I've ever had potatoes do well in pots/planters. They just don't seem suited for containers.

Tbh if u go full on anarchy warrior life becomes more cool than games. I kinda just stopped playing games when I found the stuff I'm doing irl more exciting than in vidya. So maybe u should as u said previously go full anarchy warrior.

did you mean to post this in the “what’s your idea of hell” thread?

Started playing morrowind on Xbox one. Wow, I'm enjoying it a lot.
Finished the first seasons of The Watch, based of Terry Pratchett's books, and omg is it good, highly recommend!
Rant: God dammit, I really just can't with straight people who, when drunk, start getting flirty with me. Like god, I end up walking on egg shells or being really uncomfortable/anxious about it, as I try to match it without overstepping their boundaries. But I just can't with drunk straight people in general anymore, find them just, ugh. (I'm drunk writing this, so might not be worded the best, but whatevs)
Brighter note: out of town for the weekend with a good mate hopping between places, getting drunk, and just having a good time before a week of night shifts.
