There's a Minecraft extension that makes all the recipes vegan that I'd like to try someday. Other than that, i don't think there are many vegan friendly videogames.

Breath of the Wild is sorta. There's a few side missions that require you to cook a meat dish, but it's not absolutely essential to completing the game.

Gotten through the first three books of Dune. Children of Dune was...a trip. Think so far I've quite liked Messiah the most. Gonna start reading God Emperor now.

Also, I've been humbled. Decided to get back i to some excercise, and tried doing five sets of five incline push ups. Managed to get to to sets before i was unable to lift myself up. But it's a baseline to work from!

Doing proper pushups is actually pretty difficult. So don't feel too bad. Usually if somewhat unfit people easily do pushups it means they are doing them poorly.

Yeah, am keeping that in mind. As someone who is unfit and was at least trying to follow proper form, I was expecting pushups to be tough, which is why I thought incline ones would be more my level...which I suppose they were in a way lol. Humbled in a good way really, and a good baseline to build on

For some reason when I do push ups to the beat of a song, I can do more. Maybe because I do the pushups faster? 5 x 5 incline sounds a bit tough to start! What are you using for the incline? My bedroom does not have any good instruments for incline pushups AFAICT.

I bought myself a dip station, since their quite versatile (as in, you can do a variety of excercise with em: dips, push ups, reverse rows, etc)and rather easy to keep out the way, and it's adjustable. Apperently, so long as whatever your inclining is below chest height, and is wide enough to be shoulder width, you should be fine, so depends on the set up of your room. So like, even a windowsill could work, depending on fitness level

Yeah, as I've seen it is a bit tough. What I'm going to do is raise the stand ( it was just below hip level) and just keep the sets lower until I build up a bit more. As well as continue on with a stretching regime every other day. (Even that left me sore the next day in a good way, so I'm starting from a generally tight/unfit position). Slow and steady progress is how I'm looking at it.

I actually think there are studies that show folks are able to excercise more when listening to music, so will probably set up an excercise playlist at some point.

I inadvertently erased almost 1400 tabs I had open in my browser 🤪 I hope I will get busy trying to retrieve in the history all the stuff I was waiting to read.

And I erased my Raddle notification box too, was an accident and there was some good advice there that I maybe never find out again. Some convos will be on hold for the time being. Don't worry celebratedrecluse, there is one conversation that I really quite remember and I don't have your answer yet..

Most part of it was articles and texts people shared here, and I hoped to get a second read with more attention and analysis, but never get back...

I was using the mobile browser, and my phone is a cheap one. So I imagine it's not so much ram. The browser was snapping every new tab open, so maybe it was for the best.
