Sometimes, being white is more important than any other identity. "Sometimes"

Talk about completely missing the point. The problem is subculturalization, and privilege plus platform.

Anarchists should move away from defining anarchy, and interfacing with each other, through aesthetics and ideological rhetoric alone. It's fine for anarchists to like certain things, and bond over that, but it would benefit people a lot to jettison the idea that "punk" is a cultural formation worth defending for its own sake as an artifice.

To the contrary, materiality is much more important, and quite neglected except by a few anarchists who make sure to set aside time every week to run the soup kitchen, or who clean up the squat, etc. If materiality were valued over aesthetics, I think the world would tremble to behold such a tide of anarchy.
