U n f o r t unately  G i t h u b n o w b lo cks all thro waway m ail pro viders, and I really need to have a Git hub account now. Also all current email providers are very anti-To r and you can't make an account there b y simply using T or and without revealing one's identity through S MS verific ation for instance (that includes Proto nMail for instance, Tuta nota, ...).

Thanks, just registered there and waiting for their confirmation! disroot only emerged however in 2015, while riseup has been going strong for two decades now, so i still hope some generous soul can offer me a riseup invite code as a backup against the possibility of one of them getting down!

I'm aware of those but email address providers typically have access to some dataset of the latest public free SMS providers and so they refuse to send SMS confirmation codes to them (based on my experience with ProtonMail).
