More predictions.

Food.

Where I live, my country's agricultural economy relies on a massive annual influx of illegal migrant workers. None of them showed up this year, and less than half of the TFWs with paperwork came thru. Combined with the coldsnap we had in April, my prediction is that we will encounter: crop failure, rising food prices and breakdowns in the supply chain.

So far, simply by following my own logic and reasoning, I've been consistently ahead of the general consensus. 2 months ago, I was already stocking up on essential foods and medicine (panic buying, they call it. I call it common sense) in order to avoid lines wrapping around the block, back when my family had their heads buried in the sand about it. I was also rockin a mask, back when the authorities were still scolding us for doing so, before they changed their mind about it.

And so in 6 months from now, we will have a food crisis. Count on it.

Cash.

Cash is going out, and it's unclear if it'll ever come back. This is a serious problem. A cashless surveillance society must be avoided at all costs. We need accessible, user-friendly guides for Bitcoin/Monero... And for gods sake if you do know how to use those things, please teach your friend, on condition that they teach someone else. We need "Each One, Teach One".

Facial Recognition

FR programs are coming out that can identify you based on your eyes and eyebrows. Perhaps we can fool this technology by using masks that have special patterns... like eyes? Perhaps fake eyebrows can become a thing, similar concept to fake moustaches. There's also a company in Japan coming out with relatively normal-looking special glasses that can foil FR ( https://www.popsci.com/new-japanese-glasses-block-facial-recognition/ )

I'll think of more things later.

If this is true, perhaps it would not be too bold to add ‘revolution’. Any revolution will be horrible, but perhaps there might be a chance of making some space and learning from anarchists’ past mistakes.
