Firstly. If the mods censor this I will post it again and again and again until they stop deleting it. This is a promise.

OK I can begin. This site has a lot of problems. The people here think they are always right and anyone else should be screeched at and called a fascist for having a different opinion.

I will outline all the problems of this site now.

There are too many haters. Everyone attacks instead of being understanding to their fellow man.

There are different versions of anarchism in the world but this site only allows you to be one type and not even a common type.

You even get downvoted if you're not a vegan. If only vegans are allowed here you should warn us first so we don't make an account.

There are a LOT of sockpuppets who all say the same thing with a different name. You can't fool me.

The people here think everything is homophobia or racist even if it has nothing to do with it.

Everyone is like a thought police always telling everyone else to stop thinking and to obey/agree.

The worst of all is that the links are all really boring and no one even talks about them.

If you reply to these carefully considered points with angry mockery then you are of the angry circle jerk and I don't care what you say.

For the others, I think you should go to a site that isn't filled with rude jerks like here.

I highly recommend communism.lemmy.ml for all your orderly debate needs.

I think, I might agree with you on some points.

Well, I think, this site could have a bit more tolerance to misguided and confused persons. It, honestly, does looks like you need PhD in leftist politics to post on this site, after all. EDIT: I feel like I exaggerated here, but, well, it's close.

On the other hand "misunderstood fellow men" could employ a bit more empathy and good faith, and effort in understanding a feedback they receive here.

On the third hand, I understand that Raddle value the safety of this space much more than accessibility, and I'm fine with this. An I understand that it could be much worse otherwise. EDIT2: "worse" not "worth", ofcourse! Silly me. Mess my whole point up.

I love Raddle, and I think people here are cool and chill, helpful and supportive.

Problem #1 Unlike everywhere else on the web, we have a plural amount of non-men here.

There are different versions of anarchism in the world but this site only allows you to be one type and not even a common type.

Other types of anarchism have their spaces, we have our own.

You even get downvoted if you're not a vegan. If only vegans are allowed here you should warn us first so we don't make an account.

While veganism is revered, no one will look you down for eating meat unless you promote it as some kind of privilege or virtue.

The people here think everything is homophobia or racist even if it has nothing to do with it.

Problem #2 Check your privilege. If people are telling you something is bigoted, maybe you should try to learn from it instead of dying on a hill defending it.

There are a LOT of sockpuppets who all say the same thing with a different name. You can't fool me.

We're all ziq.

Everyone is like a thought police always telling everyone else to stop thinking and to obey/agree.

Being called out in bigotry is very different than this implies.

The worst of all is that the links are all really boring and no one even talks about them.

There's /f/memer, /f/funny, /f/films, /f/UselessThoughts if you want entertainment.

I don't care what you say.

You do!

True, true. I'm not talking about last troll invasion, but more like, in general.

I can't stress it strongly enough: I don't think that a good faith user being mocked out from Raddle is a common occurance - quite the opposite! And I understand that almost noone wants to babysit some "misunderstood fellow man" untill they get their shit up. So, I don't know if anything should be changed in this regard.

Well, there's two valid concerns I think. One is that this is a good thing that there is a space for the ideas to go and engage on a theoretically constructive level, on the other hand there's a need for spaces that integrate.

I think a balance can be struck where the need for cathartic intellectual space is complementary to large discussions between people of different familiarities, intellectual currents, real-world affinities, and experiences. But that requires a level of kindness and good faith which we can expect to both give and receive on the site. With all the trolls, idk if this is something that will be easy to implement. But it is possible. The problem, as always, are the saboteurs who purposefully wreak havoc whenever an autonomous space crops up-- the same way that we always forment mayhem wherever totalitarianism seems to be creeping in.
