I become further entrenched in a job that is a liberal trap that I loathe but have no real reason to leave.

Globally, police and military will continue to become more indistinguishable.

Rulers will be able to, for the most part quiet Extinction Rebellion and other environmental movements with empty words.

Later on, the number of people holding anti-civ ideas will begin to grow exponentially— that is, still slowly, but just very slightly more than before.

The summers will not be benign.
