My experience poking at windows internals tells me that it's a security clusterfuck. It's a miracle more of them aren't hacked.

This is due to user incompetency and because Linux machines tend to hold more valuable data, not Linux security flaws. http://www.zdnet.com/article/linux-hacked-more-often-than-windows/
