Everything is going to require a social security number. But if you just want the cash not the deposit you can ask a friend to deposit for you (just endorse the check over to them), you can cash at a supermarket, a "check cashing" place (both might want your fingerprint) and if it's a pay check you could try a Bluebird card or other program for the "underbanked"
