The Icecat post on this forum made me think about something I haven't thought about. Here's the line that made me think of it:

"...Also their trademark license restricts distribution in ways that hinder freedom 0.".

Admittedly there's a couple of more nooks and crannies in Mozilla's policy like the trademark being more integrated with the software. However, in essence isn't the following something that have similar implications regarding usage?

"If you want to use this logo to link to a website operated by the FSF, feel free. If you wish to use it for any other purpose, please contact [email protected]"

If not, why?
