What do you want to see more of?

Submitted by josefStallman in freeAsInFreedom

Hi everyone,

I've been posting here (and made the forum in the first place) to aggregate stuff I think is cool in one place, and maybe show it off to other people who are interested. At this point, though, I've kind of posted all the stuff I use and think is really cool so far.

My question being: what kind of stuff do you think is the most interesting? Free games? Communication services? Social Networks? Really high-level sysadmin stuff? Really low-level system architecture stuff? Self-hosting services? Design tools?

Not specific applications, but general categories of interest so I can keep looking for them.

Also, any general ideas to make the forum better are always appreciated.

More sources for free programming guides. I'm interested in trying to dive back into Python with the desire to develop something like ZeroNet but for the Raddle community.

You've been posting generally interesting content, but perhaps should have paced yourself. A couple of posts a day for the subverse is probably sufficient to keep people interested, gives people more time to consider each post, and leaves more space for others to contribute.

I'm personally not interested in games.

Anything that stimulates any kind of conversation. Only way the site will take off is if people are talking.
