might be worth having a list of places where this is the case so that newcomers don't see a deserted front page and think that's the entire site. it's hard for me to find places that are actually active if the places that are active are made impossible to discover.

Yeah I really don't see the point of hiding the most active forum. It seems like a big fuck you to everyone putting in the work to get it to take off.

In my experience, it doesn't affect the subs growth. My /f/UselessThoughts and /f/RottenOnions grew pretty alright without front page promotion until I got too tired for creative thoughts.

Well, they're mostly a way to use my unfocused creativity. But since then, I've found a way to use them.
