You can get the 2012, 2014 and 2016 Libraries in an ISO format off a torrent, It's really incomplete but all have a descent collection.

Use Tor

I can totally relate to their sentiments and think that we should have as many anarchist libraries as we can put together. There are many serious criticisms you can make against the people currently running the library.

The 2016 one has more of the classics but over the last few years a alot of stuff that doesn't really merit inclusive in the Library either because it's not anarchist or it's not very well written, or important. I know the question of inclusion or exclusion is a hard choice to make but just because you have a blog doesn't mean you get your shit in the library. They also don't do that great a job organizing the thing, like they could organize the tags better, doing research there can be labyrinthine.

Maybe if they used another method of communicating with the readership--like a simple forum or FOSS style mailing list, and not facebook--they'd be more effective and accountable.

I also know a lot of really good shit that just isn't in theanarchistlibrary.net for example all the important historical work that the libertarian labyrinth does. https://www.libertarian-labyrinth.org

But everything being said it's still a great resource and in lieu of it going down people should still use it, or at least download the ISO's . I wouldn't wouldn't advice going there without the Tor browser tho.

No one has a monopoly on anarchist libraries, and it's authoritarian to even claim to be the anarchist library but i digresss.

When the people based in the United States involved in the library project decided to publish so-called eco-extremist material, despite the objections which were raised, existing problems and divergences came to light. What to publish? Where is the line drawn? Who decides and on what ground? With whom does one want to work? The U.S. group decided that they are the library and they have the final word.

At this point, I’m not comfortable anymore with the English speaking library claiming to be THE anarchist library and being the project’s flagship: anarchistlibraries.net was born.

Yeah, there's definitely a weird slant to the library these days, i can't speak to their internal decision making, but the webmasters/editors never seemed too connected to it's readership.

At first i got the attitude that they will just publish everything that's submitted, I'm not going to snitch jacket anybody, but it seems like a little clique took over and moved things in a strange and kinda fucked up direction. If it is that they just published anything that was submitted then it was easy for extremists with unthought politics and a terrorism fetish to get disproportionate representation.

Alot of the web infrastructure for anarchists online was started by or managed by primitivists, i think they represent a minority of all 'green anarchists' and, anarchists are pretty open minded, which makes it easy for entryists or really loud edgy people to get a platform if they say a few of the right words.
