Just got caught today and I had a haul of about $100 shit but I was lucky as hell police wasn't involved. Know that if you get caught, there will be a guy waiting for you at the exit and a guy behind you and don't run they will catch you and apprehend you despite everyone who says they won't get physical. Got off with signing documents, pic, ID'ed, and a fine is being sent home. In total I stole about $2k and I think I'll be retiring as I don't want to risk jail if I get caught 2nd time around as I'm 18 and they might share info with other retail stores so if I get caught again I might get fucked.

I would only hit up a store twice at most and take a good break if you like to shoplift 50-100 like me. Was greedy since I never saw LP once at times in morning or late afternoon and then all of a sudden they came out of nowhere and got me. They don't have info if you have hit up other stores. Won't say the store but it's a major retailer.

Easy stores probably ok I never did that but nothing wrong with that since I just dived into harder stores and learned on the way. The stuff I stole weren't clothes or electronics but trading cards to sell so that was probably why they were lenient on me despite trying to run. I feel like if people stole the stuff I mentioned, police will probably be involved.

If you steal food or tech accessories, probably will get a slap on the wrist like me with a fine and ban and make it out ok. Just don't steal over $25-50 or you will gamble if police will be involved.

Yeah michaels I hit it up for school supplies all the time. I've also taken a couple small paint bottles to sell to some art majors I know and they never restock them so I know they don't take inventory check often. I don't think I've ever seen LP once there even when Christmas is a few days before when I know the store is at its busiest with sales.

Sometimes I'd buy something online for in-store pickup and lift on my way towards the back and I assume I've never been suspicious.

Shoplifting at a store you regularly shop at is a bad idea. If you get caught shoplifting, you're fucked because the store knows you.

I've been shoplifting my groceries at the same 2 grocery stores for 3 years, up to 4/5 times a week. Nothing yet.
