Apple store has headphones I want. They retail for like $350. There are only 4 (two of each color) of them that they put out on a shelf at one time. The store is a very recent mall remodel, that has tiny cameras in the roof, and no LPs that I can see. But they will notice if one of the headphone boxes is missing at the end of the day i'm sure. But will they actually review the security tapes, open a case file, investigate for something that costs 300-350? Do they investigate accessory theft?

Try to find the same headphones at a store that doesn't have such good security or such neat shelves... then steal it from there...

i have never seen security at those stores. or them eyeballing anyone or any of that. and my friend has taken stuff from those stores multiple times. all we see are employees wearing the apple logo tshirts. There isn't much to steal there. You cant steal any iphones or ipads or any of that since that can easily be tracable. Do they really even care about accessory theft? they just leave that stuff without any tags on the shelves.

Do you need that exact pait of head phones, can you enjoy a different style? As someone else commented try a place where there is no commission and less of a reason to catch you. I'm not trying to turn you away from the product you would like but if you are asking you might not have the skill for it yet and would hate to see you get cought.
