Strayan lifter here, wondering if anyone had advice for Australian chains. Specifically interested in mid-range clothing stores, such as General P4nts, V4ns & Glu3. Would also appreciate any advice on art/electronics stores! Happy to swap stories too :) Thanks comrades

Eb g4mers has no camera, conceal behind shelves away from counter where worker are. Jb h1-f1 get in, conceal item, leave. Once a worker sees you they will customer sevice u until you leave. Guard at front of the store will check bag so conceal in pants.

Thanks for the reply! I've done JB once, but it was close to closing and the guard was out so was pretty easy. Good to kno the EB tip..... I've been eyeing some of their overpriced merch ;)

From Aus. In my experience Cotton On, General Pants, Universal Store, and JayJays are all very easy (use the change rooms to your advantage).

Higher range stores that are easy when it's busier include Connor, Roger David, and Ed Harry. Stick to the change rooms here to.

Stores like H&M, Just Jeans, Jeanswest, and Tarocash are all very hands on with their customer service, so be wary.

Also had great results with Myer and David Jones, but wait until you are more experienced to try them.

Is meyr/daved jones hands on? Do they watch cameras live?

Don't know about hands on, I've never been detected. My philosophy is that if you are unsure about a store's security situation ALWAYS assume that they are hands on, and that they watch the cameras

Took a small amount of cosmetics from Meyr once, but looked an SA in the eye just as I finished concealing, which was super nervewracking! D: Got out fine, but the sheer amount of SA's and small displays made it vv hard to hide the goods. Prolly won't be back anytime soon, but @Asbeshy, if you don't mind me asking, what do you usually take from My3ers/DJ's? Any preferred method?

I normally only take clothes from them. Always detag and conceal in the change rooms. I have taken small homeward and electronics as well, just with brazen walkouts. That'll burn the store for a good while though.

Myar only has ink tags on their clothes right? So i could just take the clothes and not worry about beeping, take the tag off at home?

Wrong. You'll need a golf detacher for Myer, their tags will set off EAS towers

Is it the black ink tag that sets off the gate? Or is there some hidden tag aswell that beeps?

Also where to get golf detacher?

The black tags at Myer aren't ink tags, the will set off the towers. Some items have hidden tags sewn into them, depends on the brand.

Buy one online.
