I'm curious how this pans out. Please keep us posted. America or Canada?

Unfortunately yes I do have experience (twice actually they got me (plea out) the first time but won at trial the second time - both times involved same long term LP officer (still works there has worked there for at least 15 years). He was very passionate and definitely a true believer but also had an axe to grind with me personally the second time around. Hopefully ur situation works out keep us posted.

I think I read that Costco has lots of under covers, is that how they got you? Do you enter with the sole intent of lifting or did you purchase some stuff and lift a few items? Their stuff are so bulky it’s hard to lift

Almost all LP is undercover: you won't know for sure who they are until they stop you. This is the only way they can be effective. But yea, Co$tco stuff is bulky and hard to lift, plus in the one Co$tco store in my area there are no self check outs so the only way to lift is to either conceal or walk out. And they have receipt checkers at the doors (not greeters, these are store staff and they ask you to stop for receipt check).

I used to work at Costco. There was a team of 5 under cover LP on the floor with walkie talkies at any given time. Costco's shrinkage is around 1% because of their LP presence and bulky ass items.

Wouldn't even dream of looting from Costco because of this.

The fact that their items are bulky and hard to conceal plus lack of self checkout might have more to do with their low shrink than LP presence.
