  1. If you do your deals in parking lots then you do not know or trust your dealer.
  2. True, but will cops care to trace your phone data if they don't even suspect you're dealing yourself? Will they pay some asshole to keep tabs on your phone for weeks, just to make a big bust of a few grams of powder at most?
  3. True but they would need a reason to seize your phone in the first place. Anyway, get around it by not keeping texts around or using an encrypted chat app with automatic message deletion.
  4. It's a possibility. If you have to do deals in a rough part of town, practice a bare minimum of street smarts: look like you belong, don't flash expensive shit, don't make excessive eye contact with strangers. And do your business during daytime.
  5. It could also be cut with garbage or complete bunk. Stepped on is hardly a big deal so long as it's legit. Again, knowing and trusting your dealer over a long term business relationship will go a long way. And testing kits.

Now that I've done my part to defend the streets, I'd also like to point out that using TOR and darknet markets is all fine and dandy but it's also not risk-free. The vendor can scam you. The parcel can get intercepted. You may even have to wait anxiously for your package for weeks while you don't know if the cops will show up with a search warrant or if the mail couriers are just slow.

Crypto is also a pain in the ass compared to good old fashioned cash.

To me, all of that from the OP is way too much hysteria.

I believe this post is correct in all ways.
