I got caught tag switching at Wally World today after finishing self check out (under $30). Employee stopped me and I was issued a no trespassing order. I’ve never been caught so I feel really rattled and scared. Very aggressive and mean “loss prevention” people.

No cops called, made me sign a no trespassing agreement, and left with nothing. Going through that made me feel like a sack of crap even though I know this evil company makes so much money off poor working class folks.

I’m home now shaking from head to toe after that. Talk me down from the shame and embarrassment I feel?

The people who caught you are good people, the business you stole from isnt, theyre misguided in working for and protecting the company, the shame you got is real, but what you did isnt bad because walmart is evil.

I disagree. When my kid was caught shoplifting the guy was yelling at an 8 year old girl saying she better change her ways or she was blah blah..... I nearly went to jail that day.

Yeah its shite one getting caught, but on the up side at least you weren't charged with anything. The country I'm in if you get caught the cops are called straight away. Iv been caught a few times in the past robbing silly stuff. Like I remember one time about 15 years ago I was caught and I ran from the shop and a bunch of people who were just in the shop buying stuff and some workers ran after me and eventually caught me. They held me down till the cops came. In court I was fined 300 euro, it was all only over a sandwich lol. I didn't know it at the time but the ones that done a citizens arrest on me were braking the law themselves by pinning me to the ground that itself would be classed as assault. If I had of been smarter at the time when i was in court I could have got the charges dropped over it. But fuck it, ya live and learn.
