picture is a little hard to read. took me a moment to see that it was a flag. colors are good though

yea, I was a bit worried that it might be too busy. When it's all one color, it's too unclear; which means that the stenciling will have to be in 2 or 3 layers unfortunately. Thanks for the feedback.

you could invert the flag portion and color it red so the connection to the canadian flag is more immediate

That might be what I have to do, the red is pretty significant in terms of the symbol of the flag itself. Not sure if I'll figure out a way to include both white and red spaces next to each other.
