There's a lot of good reading recommendations in there for anyone new to anti-civ thought. The most important takeaway is that to fight the addiction, we must change the way we think. We can't continue to think according to assumptions which are implicit in civilization, what maintains it, and the mindset of its captives.
The problem isn't technology itself, it's the entire worldview and relationships surrounding technology as we know it. We need to re-cultivate the nature that was beaten out of us in childhood. Kinship, solidarity, community, myth, and harmony with nature are basic truths, but now must re-emerge for our health and sustainability.
