Food forests don't get that way by accident. The Amazon was curated by its people to be as productive and nourishing to humans as it is... or was before civilization tore most of it down.

Forests in civilized places are for all intents and purposes deserts; sterile pine monocultures that can't sustain human life. No food grows in pine monocultures except the occasional acid-loving berry bush.

You talk a big game for someone who doesn't know shit about forestry.
