My partners and I are saving for window boxes and totes to start growing our own vegetables, because this complex is terrible and won't allow a proper garden. We spend a lot of time watching permaculture videos and taking notes for some hypothetical day we're able to get out of the city and find a small cottage or something. I try to avoid going stir-crazy by hiking with my big sister every now and again, but I need to yell at her to get better equipment because our last attempt at a winter camp was a disaster since she chose the night of the eclipse for it and it got below 0 with 3-season equipment.
