It might burn some grass and fry some bugs. I doubt it will penetrate the earth very much, so the roots will be fine. The leftover carbon from the combustion may even be nutritious for future plants.

The major ecological issue with jetpacks instead I would say is the emmisions and the extracted metal parts that go into their construction. But they are nowhere near as big and abundant as cars so I'd say cars are the more pressing issue.

As fast as tech in moving, we may start seeing crafts that do not rely on archaic propulsion, instead, something akin to anti gravity tech. Which is not only concept, but in the works currently.

I'd prefer to not imagine the energy requirements of anti-gravity tech, I think it would probably only be useful in space. Which would make it expensive and out of reach for most. But even jetpacks are still a rich man's toy and not really in common use because of how inefficient and dangerous it is. Maybe we should encourage all the rich assholes to get jetpacks so that more of them will die spectacularily.

I do not find it difficult to enjoy some of the simple pleasures, jet packing may or may not be a rich mans sport. However, a clever man, goes in a travel agent scout, and gets catered to for free. I mean, nothing is free, I have to act like I am going to place them on the top 5 destinations, cordial and gratitude, reflecting their ass kissing as I enjoy the simple pleasures most people pay out the arse for cause they don’t want to put in the work.

Jet pack flying shouldn’t be expensive and only for the rich. Just ask for a demo. TIP: Sell 50% rides with vouchers you received as demos when you went in and gave the resort an A+ as a complimentary gift with your new found VIP membership status to all resorts.
