Not saying this is posted in the wrong forum to be clear. But I think for a lot of people including myself once there is a massively inflated sense of how much territory Zapa controlls. its like a very small amount. To my knowlege they don't control any towns or anything just a few villages in really rural areas. So like chenalho has verry little to do with zapatista expect zapatista villagers might sometimes shop there and nearby criminals prob bother the zapatista too.
I figured it was tangentially related in the sense of bringing attention to the overall political climate as opposed to giving an inflated impression of zapatista territory.
