Reminder that Boss Means Master in English cbsnews.com

I remember learning in american history that boss was used because workers didn't like having a master like a slave. Especially after the United States revolution that spouted about freedom and liberty. It seems that Americans have always been pretty ignorant about other languages (translating words wrong) and pathetic solutions to serious problems (I don't like having a master so I'll just say master in dutch).
