Really that type of "them vs us" turns a lot of potential vegans away. as a starting vegan myself the biggest obstacle by far was the community, you can call me enabling all you want but I'm only here because of other tactful vegans helping me along the way.

as far as insults go, it's very tame. Why would someone who eats meat be offended by it? They know they eat meat. They make no apologies for it.

Offence is subjective. I don't call a gay person faggot I dont call a MTF a tranny.

Even though they both kind of work literally in a linguistic level. It's the intention that makes it different.

Carnist sound fucking evil and creepy. Who tf wants to be called a carnist? How will that win the hearts and minds of our omni friends and family? It won't it just makes them dislike vegans who call them that.

Ok well let me know when someone is murdered right after being called a carnist. This is such a rediculous and frankly insulting comparison.

Rehabilitation > punishment

You're right no one is required to do anything. Including be nice to animals. I do legitimize killing animals in a way that let's me accept what's happening now to prevent it in the future though a long term campaign of persuasion.

I'm here for objective results. I'm here to make a difference.

I'm not here to jerk off in my own good ethics while shutting off everyone else because I'm not doing this for me. I'm doing this for our animals and world.

Though logic and compassion And not through shame and anger

I know you don't like to hear it but this is and will be used against our community. As soon as someone posts this somewhere they're going to paint us all this way. With intolerance and overly emotional people and will even take it as a personal attack. Think of the big picture.
