I made homemade seitan steaks. They were awful. My husband loved them but I felt like I was eating raw dough. I need to try again because it's so much cheaper than buying vegan fake meats in the store.

A change in flour might help, I've had more success with whole wheat than white. The catch is whole wheat flour has less gluten and results in a smaller yield.
