Between this and that 'The final stage of capitalism is to be eusocial" post from a while ago, I get the feeling you might misunderstand a bit what 'eusocial' means. Parasites (like capitalists and mind flayers) aren't analogous to the queen of an insect colony. A eusocial colony can be considered to act as a single organism, with each individual creature providing benefit to the whole colony. Capitalists and Mind Flayers don't benefit their prey, they only leech, so I think you give too much credit to both those kinds of creatures by calling them eusocial.

(Unless Mind Flayers are eusocial and parasitic - I don't know that much about D&D lore tbh)

I say Eusocial in that societal divisions grow so large within a species, that beings within a species physically change to better fit their caste.
