I consider all communism to be totalistic. Any society where everyone's lives are structured around an ideology is; especially when the society is held together with dangerous moralism.

Rejecting Morality involves constructing a critical theory of one’s self and society (always self-critical, provisional and never totalistic) in which a clear goal of ending one’s social alienation is never confused with reified partial goals. It involves emphasizing what people have to gain from radical critique and solidarity rather than what people must sacrifice or give up in order to live virtuous lives of politically correct morality.
I'm of the opinion that ideology always rules. The prominent beliefs or culture of a group always informs that groups' decisions weather communist, egoist or any other ideology.
I'll agree with the moralizing
According to Marx, ideology is the set of believes of a society's ruling class. As the communist revolution abolishes classes all together, it also abolishes ideology.
That's stupid. Do I not have an ideology as an Anarchist because I'm not ruling class?
I missed a part. The most common ideology is that of the ruling class, right now it's liberalism in all its forms. The important thing to take about ideology is that, due to the parlimentary system of the decision making process, it is necessary to conform to a set of believes of a political party.
For example, you live in a town near a river. Party A wants to create a dam that would flood your town, no tax increase and is running a pro immigrant, anti abortion campaign. Party B wants no dam but will increase taxes and regulation on houses, that will force you to remodel your home, pro abortion and open lgb campaign, usually transphobic.
These are your choices, you're force to vote on your most pressing concern and accept everything else as a necessary evil or as the lesser evil. And despite their differing policies, they both support private property, free markets, etc. This is the basic of ideology.
Right now, communism and anarchism have the form of ideology, as they have a set of principles that must be follow by all. (I don't think I need to provide examples, do I).
So, when the status quo is abolished and anarchism/communism is the standard. It becomes unnecesary to adhere to a party line as each issue will be dealt by the community individually. No need for lesser evil or most pressing concern voting. Your becomes yours and an extension of your concience.

Nah defasher was my real self. I couldn't be myself as ziq because the techno fetishists and collectivists kept freaking out that an admin has non conforming ideas, and they kept quitting the site in rage over it. So I made defasher to speak my mind and tried to tone my ideas way down while using the ziq account. The only difference is I used British slang, which wasn't hard because I lived in the UK for a few years.
Maybe the contrast between old ziq and defasher made me think defasher was an edgier, primmie ziq. Rereading defasher's comments makes it super obvious you're the same person lol.

I've been trying to use the word "sucked" or "that sucks" and whatnot less lately because it seems inherently homophobic I've come to realize.
Good insults are hard
Yea they are. I find that in english most of the insults revolve around sex, and that's one of the biggest problems these days. People's view on sex is really messed up as it is, and stuff like homophobia coded in our expressions of dismay isn't helping that. This is a really subtle one though, and even after realizing all the homophobia in this culture I oversaw it.
My replacement for "crazy" lately has been "ridiculous". And I've been trying weed out these words.
I've been personally sticking to the feces related ones. Everyone shits, and while some may like it, most people want to get rid of their shit and they just don't like to be around it in general. So I like saying that's shitty.
But I'm sure there are ways to be more creative than that...
