I think it's awesome. It's a shame Rick is such a fascist, but he's never presented as a hero or even a good person, so it's fine. Hope Morty and Summer murder him in the finale.

It isn't as good as The Boondocks tho.

I don't think you can ignore the fanbase either - it tells you about what the show is.

If we're talking about recent US animation, I'm pro-bojack. Four episodes in and the ace character is making emma goldman references - you just don't see anything like that in R&M.
